This was in the News-Gazette last week, so I'm definitely stealing it. The recipe is for indoor s'mores and it's so easy I'll just type it in a few sentences.
1. Melt 6 Hershey bars in the microwave.
2. Mix in 2 cups miniature marshmallows.
3. Crumble 8 graham crackers and stir them in.
4. Spoon mixture into mini-cupcake wrappers (I used regular sized) and refrigerate until chilled.
I expected these to taste like a cold pile of junk food - but they were really tasty! Now imagine the possibilities if you used high-quality chocolate like a big gorgeous Ghiradelli bar or some gourmet marshmallows. Do they make good graham crackers? Anyway, I think these have some serious potential for those days when you just need a good chocolate fix.
One thing - I do not ever see myself making this recipe in the amounts specified. I would probably eat it all. I made it this weekend using about 3/4 of a bar (leftover from real s'mores), a handful of marshmallows and two graham crackers and it made four little servings.
