You may remember I went to a local cooking class on soup. There's another class coming up in a month that I would like to attend. It's called "It's a Cocktail Party" and the chef will be demonstrating fun finger foods and appetizers for parties. Not only does he demonstrate how they are made, but he shares hearty portions with the participants and allows people to bring in containers and take some food home.
Is anyone interested in going with me? We could take a bottle of wine and make it a girls' night out. It's $30 dollars, which I know is kind of expensive, but for the quality and amount of the food, plus the typed recipes, it's a pretty good deal.
The class is Wednesday, April 29, from 6:30 to 8:30p.

Normally, this is the kind of thing I'd be all, "Hell yes for," but I'm on a medically supervised diet, which means -- I'm out of luck. But if they do something similar maybe during the summer... think of me. :-)
After reading your blog about soup I decided to check into these classes as a possible birthday gift for my husband. So I saw this one and was thinking of it for his gift. I don't know if we can attend though because it his step-mother's birthday. But maybe we will see you there!
