Deep Thoughts...

- So the Lycopodium worked....a little too well. I ended up sick and dehydrated on Friday night. So I have lowered the dose and it seems to be making a big difference. Amazing! APY and I will continue to monitor our progress, because it is going to take weeks to see if we've really kicked this IBS thing.

- I spent an hour last evening watching my husband watch TV. We watched "Secret Life of the American Teenager" on ABC Family. It featured Molly Ringwald as a desperate divorcee and mother of a pregnant teen. I heard this show was growing in popularity; I had not heard that it was terribly cheesy. Between that show and a supposedly exciting basketball game, APY was laughing or shouting every other minute.

- I don't know if I'm being incredibly creative or incredibly lazy. Maybe a touch of both. I gave AJ a baby doll, some washrags and the old bathtub we used to bathe her in as a newborn. She has been giving her baby a bath for 15 minutes now. Bonus: The baby pees after you give it a bottle...which in turn requires another bath. We are at the end of winter, the weather is blah and we're running out of things to do on these nap-less days.

1. ABC Family = Cheesy.

2. The doll bathing thing is something they do at the Chicago Children's Museum. So I think that makes your activity developmentally appropriate.
