I love before and after shows, things like TLC's "Clean Sweep" and A&E's "Sell This House" (although I absolutely can not stand that Tanya girl who hosts). So I am very excited to be taking my very own before and after pictures right now. We are finishing our basement, and we are really excited to have it done. The work seems to drag on, especially since there's drywall dust on the kitchen table every day and the dining room is filled with furniture and electronics.

I shouldn't complain - we are so lucky to be doing this. We are going to have a new guest room and guest bath along with a huge storage closet for holiday decorations and old baby stuff. The rest of the open space will be divided into a play area and an exercise space. I was telling some friends this morning how excited I am to have a dedicated space for Dance Dance Revolution - no set up or tear down necessary!! Winter work-outs will be a lot more pleasant soon.

Anyway, we're so not done...but with a coat of paint applied this morning, things are really looking good. So here are a few before and afters. I'll continue to post more later.
