Good Day / Rough Night

I was all ready to get on here and post something like this: OMG you guys, get out to Steve & Barry's closing sale, everything is $7 bucks and I just got five hoodies and I couldn't be more thrilled. I love the one that says NEBRASKA! And there's a Bitten one that's cute too. Also found boots today - super sale at Kohl's. I love going shopping by myself (dressed up for church nonetheless!) and actually finding stuff I like, on sale. So GO THERE and if you see me in a new hoodie you know where it came from and how much it cost.

But the great day turned ugly when AJ decided she wasn't going to bed tonight. I honestly just thought she had the sniffles, but maybe she really is sick? I had to get in the tub and hold her down. I had to stuff her into her pj's while she fought me. She screamed, cried and told me "LEAVE ME ALONE ME!" Finally after all of that I'm laying in bed trying to soothe and cuddle her and she slams her head back down and it hits me in the face and I literally hear my nose pop/crack. A terrible sound. So I'm crying, she's crying, APY is trying to calm both of us down. I iced my nose all night while she played with the doorknobs in her room until 10pm (she can open them now - not good!).

So now I've got a sub for the morning which sucks because I haven't taught in two weeks. When I don't teach I start to get antsy. My nose is bruised but not too swollen, so I'm not sure whether it's broken or not. I guess I'll see how it feels in the morning and decide whether or not to call the doctor.

It just seems like my poor family has had more than our share of health problems this year. Especially husband. We try so hard - we eat healthy, we exercise, we get our DAMN FLU SHOTS but these illnesses and injuries just keep popping up.
